We’re setting up a website for our organisation, and we are confused about what domain name to pick. Should it be long and descriptive? Should it match our full organisation name? Any tips on choosing the right domain name?

It will be great if you can pick a keyword that matches your mission or reflects what you do. For instance, PayPal ( paypal.com ) is a creative combination of ‘pay’ with ‘pal’.
You may also use acronyms, abbreviations, or keywords instead of your full organization name. For example, NASA (nasa.gov), short for National Aeronautics and Space Administration, or UNICEF ( unicef.org), an acronym for the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund.
And don’t forget to check social media availability too; it is better if your domain name and social handles match.
